Tscale Linkhub Terms

Version: linkhub-terms-v1 · Effective date: 2026-11-04

The short version

This summary helps you read these terms. The full terms below are what apply.

  • Linkhub is for businesses.
  • Basic is free. Tscale sets up a Basic page for you after a consultation; it shows a small 'Tscale' mark.
  • Pro is CAD 19 a month plus tax, renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in the portal with no fee.
  • When Pro ends, your page stays online on Basic at the same address.
  • We may close a page that has not been used for a long time (we email you 30 days first), or that seriously breaks these terms (section 12.4 — we warn you first where it is reasonable). The address then shows a neutral notice and we delete the content 90 days later.
  • No refunds for time already used, except the three cases in section 9.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1These terms are an agreement between you and Tscale Solution Inc. ("Tscale", "we", "us"), a Canadian corporation based in New Westminster, British Columbia.

1.2They cover Tscale Linkhub ("Linkhub"), the link page service we host for your business, on the free Basic plan and the paid Pro plan, together with the Linkhub editor in the Tscale portal.

1.3Our general Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy also apply. If anything in our general Terms of Service conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to Linkhub.

1.4"You" means the business that uses Linkhub. The person who accepts these terms confirms that they are allowed to accept them on behalf of that business.

1.5You are responsible for keeping your portal login details safe and for what is done through your account. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us promptly.

2. Business use

2.1Linkhub is a service for running a business. By using Linkhub, and again when you start Pro, you confirm that you are using it mainly for business purposes and not for personal, family or household use.

2.2If a law that protects consumers still applies to you, nothing in these terms takes away a right that law gives you and that cannot be waived.

3. Plans and prices

3.1Linkhub has a free plan, Basic, and one paid plan, Pro, at CAD 19 per month.

3.2Basic. Basic is free for as long as we offer it. We set up Basic pages ourselves after a consultation; there is no sign-up on our website. A Basic page shows a small 'Tscale' mark, and some design features and blocks are available only on Pro, as shown in the editor.

3.3Pro prices do not include sales tax. We charge GST/HST and, for billing addresses in British Columbia, PST. The amount is calculated from your billing address and shown before you pay.

3.4We do not add any other fee, such as a card fee, setup fee or platform fee, to the Pro price. Your card issuer may charge its own fees, for example for currency conversion; those are between you and your issuer.

3.5What each plan includes is shown on the plan screen in the portal; for Pro, what is shown when you start Pro.

3.6If your business has a Tscale website care plan that includes Linkhub Pro, section 13 applies to that Pro access instead of the Pro price above.

4. Pro billing and automatic renewal

4.1Your billing date is the day your Pro subscription starts. Pro renews automatically every month on your billing date until you cancel.

4.2By starting Pro, you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge the card you save for each monthly renewal and any sales tax that applies.

4.3You can see your next billing date and amount in the portal under Billing. Stripe emails a receipt for each payment.

4.4All amounts are in Canadian dollars.

5. Starting and ending Pro

5.1Starting Pro. You start Pro in the portal; payment is through Stripe Checkout. Pro features turn on only after the first payment succeeds.

5.2Ending Pro. Cancelling Pro (section 6) or an unpaid renewal (section 7) moves your page to Basic at the end of the paid period. Your address, QR codes, links and content stay. The 'Tscale' mark returns, and Pro-only design settings (such as photo headers, photo or video backgrounds and a logo in place of your name) are replaced by the Basic versions. Blocks you added on Pro stay on your page, but you cannot add more of them until you start Pro again.

6. Cancelling Pro

6.1You can cancel Pro at any time before your next billing date. There is no cancellation fee.

6.2The usual way to cancel is in the portal under Billing. You can also cancel by emailing us from your account email address, and we will confirm by email.

6.3Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then your Pro features keep working; after that your page continues on Basic.

6.4Before you confirm, the portal shows the exact date and time Pro ends, in Pacific Time. We also email you when the cancellation is scheduled, and again 3 days before the end date. If less than 3 days remain, you get only the first email.

6.5You can undo a scheduled cancellation in the portal before the end date.

6.6Cancelling does not give you a refund for the current billing period. Section 9 explains refunds.

7. Failed payments

7.1Monthly renewals. If a monthly Pro renewal payment fails, Stripe will try the payment again for up to 14 days after the first failed attempt. During those 14 days your page and Pro features stay as they are.

7.2We email you on the day a renewal payment fails, with the date your page will move to Basic if the payment is not resolved. We email you again shortly before that date.

7.3If the payment is still unpaid after 14 days, your Pro subscription ends and your page continues on Basic (section 5.2).

7.4Some card declines, such as a reported lost or stolen card, are not retried automatically. Updating your card in the portal lets the payment go through again.

7.5First payment. The 14-day grace period applies only to monthly renewals. A Pro subscription starts only after the first payment succeeds.

8. When we close a page

8.1Your page does not end when Pro ends (section 5.2). We close a page only in these cases: (a) you ask us to close it; (b) section 12.4 applies (serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, spam or phishing); (c) the page has not been used for a long time — no one has signed in to the portal for 12 months and the page had no visits in that time — and we emailed you 30 days before; or (d) we stop offering Linkhub (section 12.3).

8.2After we close a page, anyone who opens its Linkhub address or scans one of its QR codes sees a neutral notice that the address is not in use, instead of your page. That notice does not show your business name, logo or contact details.

8.3Keeping your page. We keep the content privately for 90 days after closing; if you contact us within those 90 days we can reopen the page from what we kept.

8.4After 90 days we delete your page content and uploaded files. Copies in our backups are removed on our normal backup cycle, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you want your page content deleted sooner, email us and we will delete it without waiting for the 90 days; after that it cannot be restored.

8.5We keep billing, tax and dispute records separately from your page content, for as long as the law requires or allows.

8.6Making your page private. You can make your page private at any time in the portal; visitors then see a not-found page. If you are on Pro, making your page private does not cancel Pro or stop payments. To stop payments, cancel Pro under section 6.

8.7Your address. While we operate Linkhub and its domain, we will not assign the address of a closed page to a different business. If the same business, or a verified successor of that business, asks to use the address again, we can allow it after checking.

8.8We do not redirect the address of a closed page to a new address as a standard service. We may agree to a redirect on request, at our discretion.

8.9If a page on your own website links to your Linkhub page, that link will show the same neutral notice after we close the page. Updating your own website is your responsibility unless Tscale manages that website for you.

9. Refunds

9.1We do not refund Pro fees for any billing period, or part of a billing period, that has already started. This includes cancelling Pro partway through a period.

9.2We make an exception and refund you in these cases:

  • (a) we charged you twice for the same period, or charged you more than the price and tax shown to you;
  • (b) we were unable to provide your Linkhub page for the period you paid for; or
  • (c) a serious problem on our side stopped your page from working and we could not fix it within a reasonable time.

9.3To ask for a refund, email us with your business name and the charge in question. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

9.4A refund does not cancel Pro. If you also want to cancel, tell us and we will cancel it at the same time.

9.5If we decide to stop offering Linkhub under section 12.3, we will not charge you for any time after the shutdown date. If you have already paid for days after that date, we will refund those days under section 9.2(b).

9.6This section does not limit any refund right you have under a law that cannot be waived.

10. Your content

10.1You own the names, logos, photos, text and links you put on your Linkhub page ("your content").

10.2You give us permission to store, copy, format, display and deliver your content as needed to host and run your Linkhub page while your page is hosted with us. After we close a page, during the 90-day keeping period, the permission covers only storing your content privately, keeping the backups described in section 8, and reopening your page if you ask. The permission then ends.

10.3We will not use your content in our own advertising or portfolio without your separate permission.

10.4You confirm that you have the rights to your content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights, including trademarks, copyright and privacy.

10.5We may take down content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's rights, or that is reported to us and appears to break these terms. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

10.6You must not use Linkhub to mislead or cheat people, to send spam or harmful code, or to interfere with Linkhub or get around its security or limits.

10.7If you send us ideas or suggestions about Linkhub, we may use them to improve our services without owing you anything for them.

10.8Files. You can add PDF files to your page. Before a file is published we check its structure for unsafe content, such as scripts, and we may refuse a file that fails the check or remove a file that is reported to us. The check is not a virus scan and does not confirm that a file is safe. A file you publish can be opened by anyone who can open your page.

10.9Maps, videos and music. You can show content from Google Maps, YouTube and Spotify on your page. That content comes from those services and their terms apply to it; it loads only when a visitor taps it. Only show content you are allowed to share. We may remove an item that breaks those services' rules or these terms.

11. QR codes and printed materials

11.1You decide whether to print QR codes, business cards, stickers or other materials that point to your Linkhub page, and you are responsible for producing and using them.

11.2If we close your page under section 8, those materials lead to the neutral notice described there. We are not responsible for losses caused by printed materials that point to a closed page.

12. Our service

12.1We work to keep Linkhub available and working, but we cannot promise it will run without interruptions or errors. Planned maintenance and problems at our hosting, network or payment providers can cause downtime. Apart from what these terms say, and as far as the law allows, we make no other promises about Linkhub.

12.2We may improve or change Linkhub features. If a change removes a main feature of Pro, we tell you in advance under section 18. We may change what Basic includes; if a change removes something from Basic pages that already use it, we tell you in advance.

12.3If we decide to stop offering Linkhub, we will tell you at least 30 days before the shutdown date.

12.4We may suspend or close your page (Basic or Pro) if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or use Linkhub for unlawful purposes, spam or phishing. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first. For a failed Pro renewal, we move the page to Basic under section 7 instead.

13. Linkhub Pro included in a website care plan

13.1If your Tscale website care plan includes Linkhub Pro, you have Pro access until the care plan's end date and do not pay separately for it.

13.2When the care plan ends, your Linkhub page continues on Basic unless you start Pro. We will ask before the care plan ends.

13.3While the care plan continues, you can make your Linkhub page private at any time in the portal; visitors then see a not-found page. Making your page private does not change your care plan or its price.

14. Visitor inquiries

14.1Your Linkhub page can include an inquiry form. Information visitors send through it (name, phone, email, message, and answers to any extra questions you add) belongs to your business's customer records. You are the organization responsible for that information under privacy law; Tscale stores and processes it on your behalf and under your instructions.

14.2The form shows visitors a notice in your business's name and asks for their consent. You must answer visitors' requests to see or delete their information; if they ask us, we forward the request to you.

14.3We keep inquiries for you under the 'Your customers' data' section of our general Terms of Service: they stay in your customer records for as long as your account with us is active, or until you delete them. When your account ends, we delete them within 90 days. The form's notice tells visitors the same.

14.4Use inquiry information only to reply to the visitor. Do not send marketing messages unless you have the visitor's consent under Canadian anti-spam law.

14.5We may rate-limit or disable a form that receives abuse.

14.6News sign-ups. You can show visitors a separate checkbox, unticked by default, that asks whether they want news and offers from your business by email. It shows your business name and contact email and says they can unsubscribe at any time. Sending the form does not depend on it. We record each agreement — when it was given and which wording was shown — so you can show you had consent.

14.7You are responsible for the messages you send to people who agreed: identify your business, include a working way to unsubscribe, and stop sending to anyone who unsubscribes as Canadian anti-spam law requires.

14.8Mailchimp. On Pro, you can connect your own Mailchimp account. We then add the email addresses of visitors who agreed to the Mailchimp audience you choose, and apply unsubscribes made there back to our records; we do not add back anyone who has unsubscribed there. Your use of Mailchimp is under your own agreement with Mailchimp. You can disconnect at any time.

14.9Downloading sign-ups. On Pro, the business owner can download the list of sign-ups as a CSV file that opens in Excel. If you send messages yourself from that file, you are responsible for checking consent and honouring unsubscribes; we recommend sending through Mailchimp so unsubscribes are applied automatically.

15. Analytics tags

15.1On Pro, you can add your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID or your Meta Pixel ID to your page.

15.2Visitors are asked first. The tags load only after a visitor selects "Allow analytics" in a notice that names your business, and never for visitors who decline, who ignore the notice, or whose browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

15.3For the information those tags collect, you are the organization responsible under privacy law. Before you turn tags on, your own privacy policy must say that you use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel and that information goes to the United States; you confirm this in the portal. You answer visitors' requests about that information, using your Google and Meta accounts.

15.4Your use of Google Analytics and Meta Pixel is under your own agreements with Google and Meta. We do not send those tools our visitor numbers or anything visitors type. If Pro ends, the tags stop loading. We may switch off tags that are misused or that break those services' rules or these terms.

16. Private pages and redirects

16.1Password. On Pro, you can protect your page with a password of 10 to 64 characters. Visitors then see only your business name and a password box; your links, files and booking page open only after the right password.

16.2Share the password only with people you want to see the page. A visitor who enters it stays signed in on that browser for 7 days, and changing the password signs everyone out. We cannot keep a page private if its password is shared.

16.3After too many wrong passwords, we stop accepting passwords for your page for one hour and email you.

16.4Redirect. On Pro, you can send visitors who open your page straight to one of your own active links or to your booking page, for up to 90 days at a time, with an end date you choose. Redirects to other addresses are not allowed. Visits are not counted on your page while a redirect is on.

16.5If Pro ends, you can still remove a password you set but cannot set a new one, and a redirect that is on continues until its end date but cannot be extended.

17. Payments and privacy

17.1Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

17.2Stripe may process your payment information outside Canada, including in the United States. While there, it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

17.3Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, keep and delete personal information, and how to contact our Privacy Officer.

18. Changes to prices and these terms

18.1We may change Pro prices, what each plan includes, and these terms.

18.2Except for the changes described in section 18.5, we will email you and show a notice in the portal at least 30 days, and no more than 60 days, before a change applies to you. The notice will include the new wording, explain the change in plain language, and tell you about your right to cancel.

18.3A Pro price change applies from your first billing date after the notice period ends. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel Pro, or ask us to close your page, before it applies to you, without any fee.

18.4We will not change the cancellation or refund rules in these terms to your disadvantage without your agreement.

18.5Changes that do not disadvantage you, such as clearer wording or updates that reflect a change in the law, take effect on the date shown at the top of these terms.

19. Liability

19.1Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

19.2We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost business opportunities, or for losses caused by services we do not control, such as your internet provider, social media platforms, websites your page links to, or your card issuer.

19.3Our total liability to you for all claims about Linkhub is limited to the amount you paid us for Linkhub in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing, our total liability is limited to CAD 100.

20. Electronic notices and records

20.1We send notices about your Linkhub page and your Pro subscription to the email address on your account and show them in the portal. Keep that address up to date.

20.2We keep a record of which version of these terms you accepted and when. When you start Pro, we email you a confirmation with a link to that version. You can view the current version at any time from the portal footer and the Billing screen.

21. Language

21.1These terms are provided in English only. Korean text shown in the Tscale portal, in emails or at checkout is a convenience explanation and is not part of these terms; if it differs from these terms, these terms apply.

22. Governing law

22.1These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

22.2You and we agree that the courts of British Columbia can decide any dispute about these terms, unless a law that cannot be waived gives you the right to use another forum.

22.3Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

22.4If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of these terms still applies.
